- Design eyewear frames using injected plastic materials, focusing on aesthetics, ergonomics, and manufacturability.
- Develop and model products in 3D using CAD software.
- Design and revise plastic injection molds in collaboration with internal workshops and suppliers.
- Prepare technical documentation including construction drawings, bills of materials, product specifications, and production cycles.
- Utilize CAM software for CNC machining programming and simulation on molds and components.
- Collaborate with the industrialization department to optimize production processes and reduce costs.
- Provide technical support to production and quality control during sampling and startup phases.
- Actively participate in product development phases up to production launch.
- Interface with headquarters, suppliers, and subcontractors to define technical solutions and manage modifications.
- Monitor project timelines and adhere to development deadlines.
- Technical diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
- 2-3 years of experience using CAD software (preferably Creo, AutoCAD, Rhino Ceros, etc.).
- Knowledge of CAM software (preferably Esprit, Mastercam, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical technical drawings.
- Understanding of injection molding processes.
- Familiarity with 3D modeling and drafting.
- Proficiency in CAD and CAM software.
- Strong technical drawing interpretation skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Project management and timeline adherence.
- Problem-solving and technical support capabilities.
2-3 years of experience in CAD design, particularly in eyewear or related industries.
Technical diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
