Kering Assistant Manager – Senior Accountant R2R

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including fixed assets, taxation (VAT, corporate tax), payroll reconciliation, and statutory account justification.
- Ensure compliance with international and local accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP) and regulatory requirements for German entities.
- Prepare fiscal packages and annual accounts, and provide statutory financial statements and supporting documents for external auditors.
- Participate in monthly meetings with Kering Houses to present financial results.
- Collaborate with various departments and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including local and regional FSSC teams, Kering Houses, and auditors.
- Organize, distribute, and oversee team tasks to meet departmental objectives.
- Motivate and develop team members, ensuring adherence to quality standards and maintaining a positive work environment.
- Participate in projects related to R2R activities, ensuring process harmonization and improvement.
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to ensure data integrity.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7-8 years of experience as a general accountant, ideally within a shared service environment.
- Proven experience in team management.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and ability to apply local and international accounting standards.
- Familiarity with German accounting and tax regulations is advantageous.
- Fluent in French and English; proficiency in German is a plus.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Dynamic and adaptable with a team-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly SAP.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A minimum of 7-8 years of experience as a general accountant, ideally within a shared service environment, with proven team management experience.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
