Kering Assistant Accountant - P2P

- Execute routine and transactional processing within the Accounts Payable function, ensuring adherence to quality standards and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Process invoices efficiently within SLAs, escalating problematic invoices promptly.
- Resolve issues in a timely manner and manage period, quarter, and year-end processing.
- Address inquiries from end markets and ensure service levels are consistently met.
- Perform ad hoc tasks as required and provide backup support to peers.
- Assist with the implementation of new processes and maintain Accounts Payable policies and procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting principles, SSC standards, and SLAs.
- Manage stakeholder relationships by addressing issues and requests, and maintaining working relationships with Brands Finance.
- Enhance team interaction and optimize team effectiveness.
- Diploma with a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably with a degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
- Proficient organizational and time management skills.
- Basic understanding of fundamental accounting concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Familiarity with the expenditure cycle, including purchase orders, invoices, credit/debit notes, and payment terms.
- Knowledge of inter-company recharge principles and rules.
- Competence in general administrative duties and procedures.
- Proficiency in SAP and other financial systems.
- Strong computer skills and a proactive learning attitude.
- Effective communication skills in English, both oral and written.
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to work well with team members.
Experience in performing the Purchase to Payment process is required.
Diploma or Degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
