Accounts Payable Assistant

1. Perform routine and transactional processing within the Accounts Payable function.
2. Ensure quality and accurate completion of services and key performance indicators (KPIs).
3. Process invoices within the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
4. Escalate problematic invoices in a timely manner.
5. Resolve issues promptly.
6. Conduct period/quarter/year-end processing.
7. Address end market inquiries.
8. Meet service levels.
9. Perform ad hoc tasks as required.
10. Back up peers if needed.
11. Assist with new process implementations.
12. Maintain Accounts Payable general policies and procedures.
13. Participate in continuous improvement in process efficiency and effectiveness.
14. Ensure adherence to internal controls programs.
15. Comply with accounting principles, SSC standards, and SLAs.
16. Assist in addressing stakeholder issues and requests.
17. Establish and maintain working relationships with Brands Finance where applicable.
18. Enhance team interaction and optimize team effectiveness.

1. Diploma with a minimum of 1 year work experience or fresh graduates with a degree in a relevant field (preferably Commerce, Finance, Accounting).

1. Good organizational and time management skills.
2. Basic knowledge of fundamental accounting concepts, practices, and procedures.
3. Basic knowledge of expenditure cycle and rules (e.g., purchase orders, invoices, credit/debit notes, payment terms).
4. Basic knowledge of inter-company recharge principles and rules.
5. Understanding of general administrative duties and procedures.
6. Ability to use SAP and other financial systems.
7. Good computer skills and proactive learner.
8. Ability to work well with other team members and achieve productive working relationships.
9. Effective communication skills in English, both orally and in writing.
10. Understanding of cultural sensitivities.

Experience in performing the Purchase to Payment process.

Diploma or degree in a relevant field (preferably Commerce, Finance, Accounting).
