- Lead and support the jewelry design team through all stages of the seasonal design calendar, from initial concept through final sample.
- Conduct global trend, materials and techniques research to develop fresh, playful jewelry that aligns with Kate Spade’s brand DNA.
- Produce and oversee detailed CAD drawings and renderings for vendor communication and sampling.
- Create, manage and maintain spec sheets and technical packages, ensuring consistency and accuracy across development stages.
- Develop and update seasonal color cards and finish references.
- Prepare and present seasonal mood boards and line presentations to cross‑functional partners and senior leadership.
- Collaborate with design, merchandising and production teams to ensure collections are cohesive and commercially viable.
- Maintain organized material libraries, component archives and reference samples.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Jewelry Design.
- Minimum 3 years of professional jewelry design experience with proven ability to own projects end‑to‑end.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and CAD rendering.
- Highly detail‑oriented with excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple timelines.
- Demonstrated ability to perform in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment while maintaining creative quality.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills; able to influence and collaborate across functions.
- Clear affinity for the Kate Spade brand with strong taste and trend awareness.
