Hermès Workshop Manager (2‑shift production)
La Compagnie des Arts de la Table et de l’Email (CATE) is the ceramics and enamel production division operating within the Hermès Maison pole. The site designs, industrialises and manufactures decorated porcelain and enameled jewellery components and drives technical development and innovation for Hermès métiers. - Lead and animate an atelier team of approximately 30 artisans across multiple crafts, working on a 2×8 shift schedule; report to the Production Manager of the assigned flow.
- Ensure operational delivery against production plans: volumes, quality, efficiency and lead times while maintaining continuity of production flows.
- Act as local ambassador of HSE policy: model safe behaviours, promote a culture of safety, identify and escalate hazards and ensure compliance with hygiene, safety and environmental rules.
- Plan and allocate resources and workloads by workstation and machine, balancing capacity and constraints to meet scheduled deliveries.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with site objectives and deploy problem‑solving methodologies to raise performance.
- Develop and structure technical knowledge across the workshop and enhance artisans’ skills and polyvalence through targeted training actions.
- Manage performance: follow up on objectives, conduct development conversations, support annual evaluations and secure key positions through involvement in recruitment.
- Oversee first‑level maintenance activities and ensure teams are accompanied in executing maintenance gammes.
- Foster a constructive social climate in accordance with the group’s ethical charter and support employee development and dialogue.
- Tertiary education Bac+2 to Bac+5 (technical diploma, bachelor’s or master’s level) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years’ proven experience in team management within a technical or artisanal production environment.
- Experience operating in a shift‑based production system (2×8) and coordinating multi‑skill workshops.

At least 3 years of successful management experience in a technical or artisanal manufacturing environment, ideally within ceramics, decoration or similarly craft‑based production; proven ability to lead multi‑skilled teams and deliver against quality, volume and timing constraints in a shift operation.
Bac+2 to Bac+5 (equivalent to technical diploma, Bachelor's or Master's level) or equivalent professional experience.
