Hermès Business Process Owner — Item Master Data

1. Define, formalize and co‑construct the end‑to‑end processes and governance for Article master data across all métiers, balancing common standards and métier‑specific singularities.
2. Conduct mapping and diagnostic of existing master‑data sources and attributes; identify pain points, risks and improvement opportunities.
3. Design the target data model for products, raw materials, components and semi‑finished items: attributes, types, keys, dependencies and codification principles.
4. Specify business rules (lifecycles, statuses, validation workflows, controls) and align these with ERP, PLM, MDM and BI constraints.
5. Assess impacts of master‑data changes on ERP nomenclatures and flows, satellite systems (PLM, MDM), the data catalog and BI reporting.
6. Prepare and formalize prerequisites and detailed design deliverables to support ERP configuration and integrator alignment.
7. Represent métier operational vision during design and implementation; express and validate requirements with integrators and IT solution teams.
8. Support deployment waves and verify that delivered solutions meet métier requirements and agreed rules.
9. Maintain and evolve data models and management rules under established governance; lead change management and ensure adoption by référents métiers.
10. Animate Article master‑data communities and act as the primary domain interlocutor for stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.

1. Master's degree (Bac+5) from an engineering school or equivalent
2. Minimum 10 years' professional experience in master‑data, data management or closely related domains
3. Proven track record in cross‑functional project management or continuous improvement with a 360° vision
4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate terrain processes into pragmatic recommendations
5. Excellent interpersonal skills: collaborative mindset, listening, curiosity and strong adaptability
6. Demonstrated leadership, entrepreneurial spirit and organisational agility
7. Fluent English (working proficiency) — mandatory
