Guerlain Quality Engineer

1. Report to the Laboratory Manager and collaborate closely with production, quality assurance and bulk control teams.
2. Work in tandem with the quality technician to manage and document bulk non-conformities.
3. Conduct investigations into non-conforming analytical results to determine root cause and inform lot disposition decisions.
4. Prepare and lead weekly review meetings to track non-conforming references and associated corrective action plans.
5. Provide on-floor quality support during AIC (analytical/industrial control) sessions with production supervisors.
6. Contribute to laboratory AIC meetings by escalating quality alerts for decision-making with laboratory and site quality leaders.
7. Coordinate rework and retesting actions with short-term production planning.
8. Facilitate cross-functional meetings with R&I and industrial teams to resolve recurrent non-conformity issues.

1. Enrolled in or recently completed a Bac +5 (Master’s level) scientific programme — engineering, chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, cosmetics science or equivalent.
2. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across functions.
3. Organised, autonomous and proactive, with an aptitude for structured problem-solving.
4. Clear verbal and written communication; able to prepare and lead technical meetings and follow up action plans.

Entry-level; suitable for candidates in a work-study/alternance programme or recent graduates with limited professional experience in quality or laboratory environments.

Master’s degree (Bac +5) in engineering, chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, cosmetics science or closely related scientific discipline.
