Gucci Stock Keeper

- Oversee the physical organization of the stockroom, ensuring tidiness and adherence to Gucci directives.
- Enhance storage and stock control systems, suggesting improvements for stockroom layout.
- Supervise the flow of goods between stockrooms and the shop floor, ensuring efficient arrangement of articles.
- Manage the organization and replenishment of packaging materials and shop floor consumables.
- Receive and verify weekly deliveries, addressing discrepancies with inventory control and store management.
- Unpack deliveries and ensure merchandise is stored correctly and accessibly.
- Process administrative tasks related to inventory management.
- Maintain stock levels in accordance with client demand and company procedures.
- Coordinate with inventory control for deliveries, stock transfers, stock takes, and returns to vendors.
- Prepare markdowns and manage end-of-season returns to the warehouse.
- Conduct full and mini stock takes, investigating discrepancies and reporting findings to the store manager.
- Identify and manage faulty stock, liaising with suppliers and maintaining repair records.
- Support sales teams and visual merchandisers by ensuring stock availability for displays and client demands.
- Communicate with the Retail team at head office regarding stock management.
- Liaise with the press department for stock requirements.
- Previous experience in a similar role with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple demands.
- Proficiency in inventory management and reconciliation of stock counts to report data.
- Excellent communication skills for interfacing with internal and external personnel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Problem-solving abilities.
- Teamwork and effective communication skills.
Previous experience in inventory management or a similar role is required.
