Gucci Senior Operations Controller

- Oversee the shipping and receiving processes, addressing any issues with the Store Director or Operations Manager and implementing solutions.
- Ensure the timely movement of merchandise, adhering to all procedures and guidelines, including transfers, returns to vendor (RTVs), and handling damages.
- Maintain an accurate and organized store inventory, conducting cycle counts and scheduled inventories with support from the Store Director or Operations Manager.
- Develop and propose ideas to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Support the sales team to ensure an exceptional client experience.
- Manage the printing and ticketing of merchandise, returns, and price adjustments.
- Process repairs and damages promptly in accordance with company guidelines.
- Assist with the physical maintenance of the boutique as needed.
- Pack, handle, and store merchandise in compliance with Gucci standards.
- Participate in store initiatives and projects as required.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of retail experience, preferably in luxury or contemporary settings.
- Supervisory experience is advantageous.
- Work authorization in the United States.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze information, identify business priorities, and solve problems.
- High degree of integrity and strong work ethic.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with technology, including internal retail systems and shipping software.
- Physical ability to meet job requirements, such as climbing ladders and lifting boxes.
- Team-oriented attitude.
A minimum of 2-3 years in a retail environment, with luxury or contemporary experience preferred. Supervisory experience is beneficial.
The estimated base salary ranges from $24 to $27 per hour, depending on various factors including geographic location and individual qualifications.
