Gucci Senior Operations Controller

1. Oversee daily stockroom operations, ensuring accurate, organised inventory and adherence to Gucci standards for packing, handling and storage.
2. Execute and manage shipping and receiving processes; identify and escalate discrepancies and take corrective action with the Store Director or Operations Manager.
3. Conduct and supervise cycle counts and scheduled inventories; reconcile inventory records and drive corrective plans to resolve variances.
4. Process transfers, returns-to-vendor (RTV), damages, repairs, price adjustments and ticketing in a timely manner following company procedures.
5. Support the sales team as required to deliver superior client service and to prioritise client-facing activities.
6. Contribute process improvement ideas to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs; support store initiatives and projects.
7. Assist with boutique maintenance activities and meet the physical requirements of the role, including lifting and ladder use.
8. Comply with all company policies, procedures and security protocols.

1. Minimum 2–3 years of retail experience; experience in luxury or contemporary brands preferred.
2. Supervisory or team leadership experience is a plus.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt communication to diverse stakeholders.
4. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
5. Proven ability to analyse information, identify business priorities and implement pragmatic solutions.
6. High degree of integrity, a strong work ethic and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude.
7. Comfortable with physical aspects of the role (e.g., climbing ladders, bending, lifting boxes).

Minimum 2–3 years of retail experience; luxury or contemporary retail background preferred. Supervisory experience is advantageous.
