Gucci Production Planning and Control Manager — Leather Goods

1. Lead tactical and strategic production planning and capacity sizing across the entire leather goods production chain to ensure efficient, sustainable process performance.
2. Define finished‑product production plans for all Leather Goods categories and lines, balancing projected demand with production volumes and aligning plans with merchandising.
3. Coordinate and monitor internal departments and external suppliers to secure adherence to delivery timelines, quality standards and target quantities.
4. Partner with Procurement to ensure timely sourcing of raw materials and components in line with production requirements.
5. Analyse production data and KPIs to identify bottlenecks and cost-saving opportunities, and implement improvements to raise efficiency and reduce waste.

1. 8–10 years' experience in production planning and control within the leather goods/fashion industry.
2. Deep knowledge of the leather goods supply chain and manufacturing processes.
3. Strong financial acumen with an understanding of the drivers impacting company financial statements.
4. Proven leadership experience, including team management, coaching and development.
5. Demonstrable project management skills with strong planning and execution capabilities.
6. Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
