Gucci Merchandising Manager - Men's Shoes

- Adapt and implement the worldwide buying strategy at the regional level based on market specificities and priorities.
- Collaborate and coordinate special projects across categories during buying campaigns, including capsules, holidays, and other initiatives.
- Perform in-season analysis and propose strategies to optimize assortments by store.
- Monitor and revise carryover product assortments to maximize potential by store.
- Coordinate with Inventory Planning to define stock distribution rules for new and carryover styles.
- Monitor in-season cancellation proposals and coordinate with Inventory Planning and Supply Chain.
- Partner with other merchandising team members to cohesively develop and execute merchandise assortment and buying plans.
- Conduct regular store visits to Gucci and competitor locations to highlight product information and strategies to store teams.
- Collaborate with visual merchandising and retail to address tactical opportunities in space allocation and product presentation.
- Conduct sales plan reviews with regional and worldwide planning teams to evaluate sales potential by event and store.
- Provide strategic input for visual setups to positively impact business and collaborate on product presentation strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Business, Finance, or related discipline desired.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of relevant buying experience in a fashion and/or luxury environment.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Must be organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Flexibility to travel with short notice domestically and internationally.
- Client-centric focus with the ability to tailor assortments for each market and store.
- Strong analytical skills to perform in-season analysis and strategy proposals.
- Excellent collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with various departments.
- Ability to monitor sales and sell-through and initiate strategies to optimize stock and boost sales.
- Competency in reviewing competitor activity and monitoring pricing to optimize product positioning.
A minimum of 4-5 years of relevant buying experience within a fashion and/or luxury environment is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Business, Finance, or related discipline desired.
A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $110,000 to $126,000.
