Gucci Merchandising Manager, Men's Leathergoods

- Develop and implement the worldwide buying strategy for men's leathergoods at a North America regional level, tailoring assortments by market and store.
- Lead seasonal and in‑season buying activities, including assortment optimization, carryover management and cancellation proposals to maximize sell‑through.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Inventory Planning, Supply Chain, Visual Merchandising, Retail and eCommerce to align launches, allocations, store openings and events.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of sales, sell‑through, stock levels and competitor activity to inform pricing, allocation and open‑to‑buy decisions.
- Conduct regular store visits (Gucci and competitors) to validate assortments, deliver product knowledge, and advise on space allocation and presentation strategies.
- Provide strategic input to Visual Merchandising and support execution of product presentation plans to drive conversion.
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Business, Finance or a related discipline preferred.
- Minimum 4–5 years of buying or merchandising experience within fashion and/or luxury, with exposure to retail and eCommerce.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment and deliver cross‑functional collaboration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally approximately 30%–40% of the year and to work occasional evenings, weekends and holidays.

4–5 years of relevant buying or merchandising experience in a fashion or luxury environment, with demonstrable experience managing assortments for retail and eCommerce and working across planning, supply chain and retail teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Business, Finance or related discipline preferred.
