Gucci Leather Goods Product Assistant

- Coordinate the end-to-end product development process for leather goods, from initial concept and inspiration through prototype, fittings and final delivery.
- Manage samples, drawings and prototypes — record, distribute and archive physical and digital assets (shared drives, iCloud) to ensure traceability and version control.
- Prepare and maintain collection overviews, allocation files, recap documents and presentation materials for internal reviews and meetings with Artistic and Design Directors.
- Liaise daily with cross-functional partners including Product Development, R&D, merchandising, Gucci ArtLab and Milan/Florence warehouses to monitor prototyping, sampling and shipment timelines.
- Record and update product information in the pdd online tool and ensure documents and sketches are shared with all relevant departments.
- Coordinate and attend fittings at all development stages and manage incoming requests from internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
- 3–5 years' experience in a product or development role; hands-on experience in leather goods is a strong advantage.
- Fluency in Italian and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills to interface with internal and external partners.
- Proven organisational ability and meticulous attention to detail, with a solution-oriented, 'can-do' attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite; basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop is a plus.
- Ability to manage administrative processes including sample shipments, archival systems and supplier or rental invoicing.

Typically 3–5 years in a similar product development or design-support role, ideally with direct exposure to leather goods and accessory collections.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Fashion Design, Product Development, Industrial Design or a related discipline is preferred.
