The role is based at Il Castello, Gucci’s dedicated footwear upper production site in Castiglion Fiorentino, which supports the Maison’s commitment to artisanal manufacturing and product excellence.

1. Inspect cut components to verify quality and correct quantities prior to assembly.
2. Interpret accompanying technical documentation (technical sheets, quality specifications, model references) to determine required skiving and finishing operations.
3. Perform machine setup and ensure correct parameters for each model.
4. Insert linings, align and pair components, and sew uppers in accordance with the model and technical sheet specifications.
5. Prepare and maintain sewing machines and hand tools to guarantee consistent production flow and quality standards.
6. Work collaboratively on the production line to meet target output while maintaining required quality tolerances.

1. Several years of proven experience in upper assembly/sewing, preferably within luxury footwear and women’s shoe production.
2. Proficiency with flatbed and column sewing machines.
3. Solid knowledge of the footwear production cycle and assembly techniques (skiving, edge finishing, lining insertion).
4. Ability to set up and maintain sewing machines and related equipment.
5. High degree of manual dexterity, precision and attention to detail.
6. Team-oriented attitude with strong reliability and work discipline.

Multiple years of hands-on experience in upper assembly/sewing within a footwear production environment, with preference for candidates who have worked in luxury women’s footwear.
