Gucci Finance Controller - Retail

1. Oversee the accounting and finance functions of the retail finance team.
2. Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support retail business objectives.
3. Prepare and review monthly profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
4. Ensure that appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained.
5. Establish, monitor, and enforce policies, procedures, and internal controls.
6. Manage all external and internal audits.
7. Communicate with worldwide headquarters on the financial situation of the company.
8. Monitor and control all operational costs to ensure efficiency and profitability.
9. Achieve budget objectives by monitoring expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective action.
10. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement financial strategies that align with business objectives.

1. BA in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA and/or CPA is advantageous.
2. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial management, preferably in retail.
3. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
4. Advanced proficiency in Excel and MS Office.
5. Experience with financial systems; SAP experience is a plus.
6. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.
7. Supervisory and leadership capabilities.
8. Effective communication skills with all levels of management within the region and worldwide.
9. In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and retail industry trends.
10. Ability to explain complex accounting and finance issues to non-financial team members.

The base salary range for this position in New York City is estimated to be $115,000 - $125,000.
