Gucci Associate Merchandising Manager - Women's Ready-to-Wear and Silks

- Drive seasonal business strategies to exceed financial goals within Open to Buy (OTB) parameters in collaboration with the Senior Merchandising Manager and Vice President.
- Implement key messages and guidelines from Worldwide merchandising during buying campaigns.
- Develop assortments aligned with brand growth strategies and financial plans.
- Analyze selling trends and manage reorders and consolidations to optimize sales and profitability.
- Collaborate with Inventory Planning for timely allocation of new products, prioritizing key locations for an omnichannel approach.
- Partner with Visual Merchandising to highlight high potential products and styles needing support.
- Conduct in-season analysis and propose strategies to optimize assortments by store and channel.
- Manage the merchandising process, providing product guidance and facilitating new order placements.
- Coordinate special projects across categories during buying campaigns.
- Deliver qualitative and quantitative feedback to Worldwide teams.
- Review competitor activity and internal/external pricing to optimize product positioning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Business, Finance, or related discipline preferred.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of relevant buying experience in fashion and/or luxury environment.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally, 30-40% of the year.
- Ability to work a demanding schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and adaptable to change.
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
- Keen eye for luxury brand products.
A minimum of 3-4 years of relevant buying experience in the fashion and/or luxury environment is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Business, Finance, or related discipline preferred.
Base salary range is $85,000 to $90,000 USD, depending on experience and location.
