Glenmorangie Lead Packaging Development Project Manager

- Lead and mentor a team of NPD Project Managers, providing guidance and professional development.
- Collaborate with Marketing to ensure timely delivery of new products that meet cost and quality standards.
- Create and manage technical development timelines for new packaging projects.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to oversee operational aspects of NPD projects.
- Communicate project statuses across the business through Product and Gateway meetings.
- Conduct project risk reviews and manage complexities in new developments.
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents and participate in supplier selection.
- Participate in ongoing supplier assessments and provide development feedback.
- Supply necessary information for production and quality documentation.
- Explore and introduce innovative technologies and methods in packaging.
- Work with Operations to integrate new technologies into production processes.
- Manage the artwork development and approval process.
- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements in packaging and POSM elements.
- Prepare and maintain project-related ISO documentation.
- Uphold luxury and visual perfection standards in all product developments.
- Expertise in packaging materials, supported by a relevant degree or equivalent industrial experience.
- Experience working with dry goods component suppliers and creative agencies.
- Proven project management skills, ideally with a qualification such as Prince 2.
- Commercial acumen and business experience.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of legal and mandatory requirements for packaging materials, such as REACH regulations.
- Demonstrated experience in people management and recognized management training.
- Commitment to people development and management.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work across functions and cultures.
- Analytical skills with attention to technical details.
- Self-management and problem-solving abilities.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset.
Significant experience in packaging development and project management within the luxury goods sector.
Relevant degree in packaging, engineering, or a related field.
