- Develop and execute merchandising strategies aligned with brand and market demands.
- Oversee product selection, pricing strategies, and inventory management.
- Conduct sales analysis and market research to inform merchandising decisions.
- Collaborate with visual merchandisers to enhance store layouts and displays.
- Work with e-commerce teams to optimize online product performance.
- Lead and mentor junior merchandisers and other team members.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and CRM teams to drive product success.
- Manage the markdown process and optimize stock turnover.
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising or equivalent experience.
- Four to six years of buying experience, preferably in the luxury sector.
- Strong understanding of merchandising financials and retail math.
- Proven experience in building profitable business models.
- In-depth experience in Women’s Leathergoods and Ready-to-Wear.
- Expert knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Prefer knowledge of SAP, QLIK Sense, COGNOS, and CEGID.
- Strong product sensibility and trend awareness.
- Ability to analyze reports and provide strategic recommendations.
- Effective communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs.
- Autonomous work capability.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the luxury fashion industry, with a focus on multi-category buying and merchandising.
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising or equivalent experience.
The compensation for this position ranges from $105,000 to $125,000, dependent on skills and experience.
