1. Research and select textiles in alignment with stylistic briefs and fabric collection plans through supplier meetings, trade shows, and showrooms.
2. Organize textile samples by type.
3. Prepare seasonal color palettes.
4. Initiate, monitor, and approve lab dips, woven trials, and collection swatches.
5. Maintain and organize the fabric library daily.
6. Assist in reporting prices, minimums, and lead times on selected samples.
7. Support meeting preparations by creating fabric boards and updating information daily.

1. Advanced degree in textile engineering, fashion school, business school, or equivalent university education with a strong focus on materials.
2. Minimum of 3 years of significant experience in textile sourcing and development.

1. Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Italian is advantageous.
2. Technical knowledge of materials and a strong network of suppliers.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
4. Experience with PLM systems is a plus.
5. Dynamic, organized, proactive, with excellent interpersonal skills for both external (suppliers) and internal (development, production, merchandising) interactions.

A minimum of 3 years of significant experience in textile sourcing and development is required.

Advanced degree in textile engineering, fashion school, business school, or equivalent university education.
