Galeries Lafayette Boutique Manager
Galeries Lafayette, a prestigious name in the luxury retail sector, operates under the umbrella of the Galeries Lafayette Group, a leader in the French distribution of watches and jewelry. The group includes renowned brands such as Louis Pion and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz, offering a wide selection of timepieces and jewelry from accessible to premium ranges. With a significant presence across France and Luxembourg, the group manages over 70 retail points and an e-commerce platform, showcasing more than 60 brands. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides exclusive access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands, both in urban settings and airports, complemented by a bespoke jewelry creation service. The group also operates monobrand boutiques for iconic names like Cartier, Rolex, and Hermès.
- Manage and develop the team, including recruitment, integration, training, and coaching.
- Communicate and motivate the team around brand strategy and vision.
- Ensure commercial management and animation of the boutique to achieve quantitative and qualitative objectives.
- Act as liaison with the headquarters' Purchasing and Supply Chain teams to manage stock levels.
- Interface with suppliers and report to the Luxury Network Director.
- Oversee clienteling efforts, building and maintaining a qualified client database.
- Manage administrative responsibilities, including adherence to group policies, financial flows, and regulatory compliance.
- Supervise and coordinate all administrative, accounting, HR, and security operations.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Bac+2).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in luxury watch/jewelry sector.
- Fluency in French and English; proficiency in a third language is advantageous.
- Strong managerial and leadership capabilities.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to anticipate, manage emergencies, and prioritize tasks.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Deep passion for horological and jewelry products.
- Familiarity with airport-specific operations and requirements.
A minimum of 5 years in the luxury watch or jewelry sector is required.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Bac+2).
Fixed salary over 12.5 months with variable components including sales commissions and performance bonuses.
Includes parking, meal vouchers, fuel allowance, uniforms and cleaning allowance, RTT, and comprehensive health insurance.
