Galeries LafayetteStore Manager
The Horlogerie Bijouterie Branch of the Galeries Lafayette Group is the leading French distributor of watches and jewelry through its brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. It operates as the purchasing center for jewelry and watch sectors for 57 Galeries Lafayette department stores in France and Luxembourg. The branch also manages multi-brand watch spaces in 40 of these stores and operates 70 Louis Pion stores across France, offering a wide range of watches and jewelry. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands through its 12 boutiques and e-commerce site. The branch also operates mono-brand boutiques such as Cartier, Rolex, Omega, Messika, Tudor, and Hermès in department stores and airports.
- Manage and develop the store team, including recruitment, integration, and training.
- Ensure team development and coaching through individual interviews, development committees, and training.
- Communicate, unite, and motivate the team around the brand's strategy and vision.
- Manage store operations, including opening hours and staff scheduling.
- Define and implement action plans to achieve quantitative and qualitative objectives.
- Monitor performance indicators and coordinate with the purchasing and supply chain teams.
- Manage customer service and resolve client disputes.
- Develop a qualified client database and build trustful relationships.
- Ensure compliance with group, brand, and store policies and procedures.
- Manage financial and monetary flows and ensure social regulation compliance.
- Supervise administrative, accounting, HR, security, and safety operations.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Bac+2).
- At least 5 years of experience in the luxury watch/jewelry sector.
- Fluent in English and French; proficiency in a third language is appreciated.
- Strong managerial and leadership abilities.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to anticipate, manage emergencies, and prioritize.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Strong interest in watch and jewelry products.
- Knowledge of airport-specific operations.
At least 5 years of experience in the luxury watch/jewelry sector.
Fixed salary over 12.5 months plus variable components (individual sales commissions, exceptional sales commissions, performance bonuses).
Parking, meal vouchers, fuel allowance, uniforms and cleaning allowance, RTT, health insurance, and provident fund.
