Galeries Lafayette Assistant Boutique Manager
The Watch and Jewelry Division of the Galeries Lafayette Group stands as the preeminent French distributor in the horology and jewelry sectors, operating under esteemed brands such as Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. This division serves as the purchasing hub for jewelry and watch sectors across 57 Galeries Lafayette department stores in France and Luxembourg. Louis Pion, with its extensive network of 70 retail locations and an e-commerce platform, offers a diverse selection of watches and jewelry from over 60 brands, including its own collections. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides exclusive access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands through its 12 boutiques and online presence. The division also operates monobrand boutiques for luxury names like Cartier, Rolex, and Omega, aiming to captivate enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike.
- Participate in the implementation of action plans to enhance individual and collective performance.
- Ensure team development and coaching, mastering and animating managerial rituals.
- Communicate, unite, and motivate the team around the brand's strategy and vision.
- Coach performance, economic, and managerial indicators.
- Monitor, coordinate, and forecast stock levels to achieve sales targets and manage peak traffic periods.
- Create and develop a qualified client database and build trustworthy relationships with clients.
- Ensure compliance with group, brand, and boutique policies, procedures, and directives.
- Supervise, organize, and coordinate all management operations including administrative, accounting, HR, reporting, and dashboard tasks.
- Proven experience of at least 3 years in a similar role within the high-end service sector.
- Fluency in English and French; proficiency in a third language is appreciated.
- Natural leadership with strong interpersonal skills to establish privileged relationships internally and externally.
- Ability to motivate, develop, and unite a team towards results.
- Passion for service, dynamism, empathy, adaptability, coupled with a high level of demand and rigor.
- Organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent presentation and verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong affinity for jewelry and watch products.
A minimum of 3 years in a similar position within the luxury service industry is required.
Fixed remuneration between 35,000 and 40,000 EUR over 12.5 months, aligned with experience and skills. Stimulating variable remuneration linked to commercial and individual performance objectives, including monthly, quarterly bonuses, and personal sales commissions. Annual bonus tied to set objectives.
