Galeries Lafayette Assistant Store Manager
The Watch and Jewelry Division of the Galeries Lafayette Group is the leading French distributor of watches and jewelry through its brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. It operates 70 retail locations across France and an e-commerce site, offering a wide range of watches and jewelry from over 60 brands, including its own collections. The division also manages monobrand boutiques such as Cartier, Rolex, Omega, Messika, Tudor, and Hermès in department stores and airports.
- Participate in implementing action plans to improve individual and collective performance.
- Ensure the development and coaching of the team, mastering and leading managerial rituals.
- Communicate, unite, and motivate the team around the brand's strategy and vision.
- Coach performance, economic, and managerial indicators.
- Monitor, coordinate, and forecast stock levels to achieve sales targets and manage traffic peaks.
- Create and develop a qualified customer database and build trustful relationships with clients.
- Ensure compliance with group, brand, and store policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Supervise, organize, and coordinate all management operations (administrative, accounting, HR, reporting, and dashboard).
- Successful experience of at least 3 years in a similar position in the high-end service sector.
- Fluent in English and French; proficiency in a third language is appreciated.
- Natural leadership with strong interpersonal skills to establish privileged relationships internally and externally.
- Ability to motivate, develop, and unite a team towards results.
- Passion for service, dynamism, empathy, adaptability, with a high level of demand and rigor.
- Organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent presentation and verbal and written communication.
- Strong interest in jewelry and watch products.
At least 3 years of successful experience in a similar role within the high-end service sector.
Fixed salary between 35,000 and 40,000 EUR over 12.5 months, with stimulating variable compensation linked to commercial objectives and individual performance.
