Galeries Lafayette Buyer – Food and Catering Department

- Conduct sourcing, evaluate offers, and negotiate terms within the food sector.
- Research, select, and reference suppliers for the designated area.
- Negotiate commercial conditions with suppliers in alignment with purchasing strategies, including offers, pricing, quantities, logistics, and promotional activities.
- Manage supplier disputes and prepare both annual and temporary contracts.
- Perform weekly activity monitoring of the designated area, suppliers, and stock rotations/coverage.
- Communicate regularly with Galeries Lafayette stores in Paris and other regions for performance tracking and offer deployment.
- Maintain ongoing market analysis and benchmarking to assess offer evolution, demand, competition, and development opportunities.
- Conduct biannual business reviews, analyzing tracking tables and reports for management, and develop optimization/development plans for food sections, restaurants, food counters, and stands.
- Negotiate and oversee activities for the catering sector, acting as the purchasing reference for various restaurants and concepts within Galeries Lafayette Haussmann.
- Negotiate annual terms and promotional activities with restaurant suppliers.
- Monitor and guide restaurant operations, including offer evolution, seasonal changes, commercial promotions, performance, and profitability.
- Participate in marketing events with partner brands.
- Inform all restaurants of new product launches and promotional activities.
- Master's degree in Purchasing or related field.
- Proven experience in purchasing, particularly within the food sector.
- Adaptability and agility in learning.
- Strong market trend identification and long-term challenge recognition.
- Ability to create sustainable value for the company.
- Rigorous, attentive, and excellent team player.
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
- Recognized negotiation abilities.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
- Comfortable with financial aspects and data analysis.
Proven experience in purchasing, particularly within the food sector.
Master's degree in Purchasing or related field.
Fixed salary over 13 months, with a stimulating variable component. Profit-sharing and participation bonuses.
