Galeries Lafayette Assistant Store Manager
The Horlogerie Bijouterie division of the Galeries Lafayette Group stands as the preeminent French leader in the distribution of watches and jewelry through its renowned brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. This division serves as the purchasing hub for jewelry and watch sectors across 57 Galeries Lafayette department stores in France and Luxembourg. With 70 retail locations and an e-commerce platform, Louis Pion offers an extensive selection of watches and jewelry, while Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides access to over 50 prestigious brands. The division also operates monobrand boutiques for luxury names such as Cartier, Rolex, and Omega. The mission is to captivate enthusiasts and connoisseurs of watches and jewelry alike.
- Lead and develop the sales team in collaboration with the store manager, ensuring recruitment, training, and coaching.
- Drive commercial growth by implementing strategic action plans to achieve budgetary objectives.
- Coordinate stock levels with headquarters to optimize sales and manage high-traffic periods.
- Ensure exceptional customer experiences to foster loyalty and build a qualified client database.
- Oversee administrative operations, ensuring compliance with social regulations and company policies.
- Minimum of 2 years of successful experience in a similar role within the luxury service sector.
- Fluency in French and English; proficiency in a third language is advantageous.
- Proven leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Strategic thinking and customer-oriented approach.
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on achieving commercial objectives.
Candidates must have at least two years of experience in a comparable position within the high-end service industry.
Fixed annual salary between €32,500 and €35,000 over 12.5 months, with performance-based variable compensation.
