Galeries Lafayette Assistant Security Manager

- Participate in store opening and closing operations.
- Ensure the safety of individuals and property.
- Conduct continuous monitoring to combat known and unknown shrinkage.
- Guarantee compliance of all alarm, video surveillance, and remote monitoring systems.
- Supervise security teams and act as a liaison for the Operations Manager.
- Propose and implement continuous improvements in security and safety measures during events.
- Manage and follow up on incident reports and complaints.
- Handle all security-related issues for employees and the store in coordination with the building's Security Control Center.
- Organize evacuation drills.
- Regularly train and sensitize staff, ensuring the availability of protective equipment.
- Secure merchandise and ensure the overall security of the store.
- Establish and update security procedures.
- Oversee security teams and maintain daily service quality with the security provider.
- Possession of a professional card and up-to-date SSIAP2 certification.
- Significant experience (5 to 10 years) in a similar role.
- Background in security or National Police/Gendarmerie.
- Strong understanding of legal regulations in security, safety, maintenance, and technical areas.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for internal and external communication.
- Rigorous, organized, and capable of multitasking.
- Solution-oriented with a proactive approach.
- Ability to remain calm and discreet during crisis management.
- Interest in retail, customer relations, and lifestyle culture.
5 to 10 years of significant experience in a similar security role, preferably within the retail or law enforcement sectors.
Fixed salary over 13 months, with a variable component up to €150 based on monthly store revenue, and an annual bonus up to one month's gross salary.
