Fresh Senior Director, Visual Merchandising and Store Design

- Define and evolve global store design concepts, fixture systems, and visual standards across various retail environments.
- Collaborate with external architects and design consultants to develop scalable retail concepts aligned with brand strategy.
- Provide design frameworks, guidelines, and brand codes to regional and local teams.
- Establish approval criteria and governance processes for floorplans and shop designs.
- Define global visual merchandising strategies and launch frameworks in partnership with the Creative team.
- Translate campaign concepts into scalable global visual merchandising principles, directives, and playbooks.
- Oversee the development of global visual merchandising guidelines and reference materials.
- Ensure alignment between visual merchandising frameworks, brand storytelling, and commercial objectives.
- Own global interior merchandising principles, including planogram logic and in-store storytelling.
- Guide the development of launch collateral and in-store graphics standards.
- Define global approaches for theatre, hospitality, and experiential moments.
- Establish global frameworks for pop-ups, special activations, and events.
- Define global brand expression principles for external retail partners like Sephora.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to evolve visual presence within retailer constraints.
- Define global standards for top-of-counter units and merchandising tools.
- Lead and coordinate visual merchandising and store design workstreams for local and regional market launches.
- Set up and vet local and regional vendors in architecture, millwork, construction, project management, and print.
- 12-15+ years of experience in a related field.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects.
- Proven leadership skills to motivate and focus teams on goals and objectives.
- Analytical skills to evaluate successes and failures and determine next steps.
- Experience with branding initiatives and consumer marketing strategies.
- Knowledge of department and industry standards.
- Creative and managerial agility.
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel).
- Ability to anticipate and champion change.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Strategic thinking and ability to implement new ideas from data and insights.
- Results-driven with a focus on achieving business objectives.
Minimum 10 years
The salary range for this role is $190,000 - $250,000 USD.
