Fendi Senior Finance Manager

- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of financial reporting and ledger structures, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
- Collaborate with the Managing Director to drive operational and profitability targets, acting as a strategic business partner.
- Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes, from initial framing to presentation to headquarters.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analyses comparing actual results to budget targets and prior year figures.
- Prepare monthly management reporting packages for local management and Fendi headquarters, focusing on retail KPIs, sales, and margin analysis.
- Perform cost analysis, including benchmarking, budgetary control, and cost sharing.
- Ensure financial reporting adheres to group guidelines through controlling and monitoring processes.
- Support investment planning for new store openings, including follow-up with headquarters.
- Assist in comparing and analyzing commercial terms for new projects.
- Collaborate with the Merchandising department to review seasonal merchandise buys.
- Prepare presentations and reports on various projects, such as inventory turnover and e-commerce.
- Analyze and monitor logistics flow costs to identify issues and opportunities.
- Respond to financial queries from local management and Fendi headquarters.
- Collaborate with department heads and store managers to support departmental goals and objectives.
- Provide financial training to new and existing staff as needed.
- Participate in and review retail audits annually for each store, proposing action plans as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to procedures regarding cash, credit card processing, and store cash management.
- Lead projects for boutique openings, buybacks, and new country entries, coordinating with stakeholders across departments.
- Review legal contracts in collaboration with the Legal department, landlords, and brand representatives.
- Degree in Finance & Management
- MBA/CPA/ACCA qualification highly desirable
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Experience in luxury retail business advantageous
- SEA experience advantageous
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder collaboration
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
Minimum of 10 years of management experience in financial accounting/control, preferably within the luxury retail sector.
Degree in Finance & Management
