- Define corporate strategy for Women's Small Leather Goods and Accessories, focusing on product lines and functionalities.
- Establish sales forecasts by product lines to achieve business goals for the categories.
- Develop a central buying vision, setting core assortment and strategic buying guidelines by store clusters.
- Formulate and coordinate merchandising strategies during showroom periods across all regions, including order validation.
- Support the implementation of merchandising strategies and drive launch plans, identifying growth opportunities and developing quantitative business plans.
- Conduct regular sales analysis by product category and region, driving actions and defining category vision for budget and strategic plan revisions.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain to manage stock and develop a vision for permanent sales globally.
- Work closely with the Collection Merchandising team to align collections with strategic vision and sales goals.
- Perform market analysis to identify trends and requirements, communicating structured feedback to Product Managers.
- Enhance skills in the Women's Leather Goods category within buying and retail teams.
- University degree in Economics, Engineering, Business, or related fields.
- At least 8 years of experience as a Retail Merchandiser or Buyer for the Leather Goods category.
- Excellent merchandising and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proven analytical skills through past experiences.
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities with diverse contacts.
- Understanding of current market trends and consumer buying psychology.
- Knowledge of the main players in the Leather Goods business with a strong luxury product sense.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
Minimum of 5 years in a similar role, with prior experience in the European market and knowledge of Asian and Japanese clientele considered a plus.
University degree in Economics, Engineering, Business, or related fields.
