Fendi Merchandising Director

- Define and implement merchandising strategies for Women's RTW, Shoes, and Fur in alignment with brand vision and financial objectives.
- Lead market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges specific to the Americas and respective product categories.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cohesive local go-to-market plans that support financial KPIs.
- Supervise and develop two direct reports, providing leadership and guidance in category management.
- Manage category performance through sales data analysis, inventory monitoring, and plan adjustments to maximize revenue growth and profitability.
- Build strong relationships with key retail partners to optimize product performance in line with brand strategy.
- Coordinate with Visual Merchandising teams to ensure consistent product presentation across retail channels.
- Work closely with the Vice President of Merchandising on range planning activities, ensuring alignment across all categories.
- Drive innovation within the product assortment by staying ahead of industry advancements and consumer preferences.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Fashion Merchandising, or related field.
- At least 8 years of merchandising experience in a luxury fashion environment with direct experience managing Designer RTW.
- Strong analytical skills paired with a creative mindset.
- Excellent leadership abilities to inspire team members towards excellence.
- In-depth knowledge of luxury fashion market dynamics, including customer segmentation and competitive analysis.
- Proficiency in retail math and inventory management principles.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically.
- Detail-oriented and thrives under pressure.
A minimum of 8 years in merchandising within a luxury fashion environment, with direct experience managing Designer RTW. Experience in footwear is advantageous.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Fashion Merchandising, or related field.
Standard office hours with a hybrid working model, including 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. Flexibility to attend industry events outside normal working hours. Up to 50% domestic and international travel may be necessary.
