Fendi Assistant Visual Merchandising Production Manager

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure all VM assets are correctly prepared and produced as per specifications.
- Ensure all VM assets are manufactured, shipped, delivered, and installed in accordance with the brand guidelines meeting quality and aesthetic standards.
- Review and approve technical drawings from contractors to ensure alignment with design requirements and feasibility for production.
- Create mockups of designs and layouts on Photoshop where necessary.
- Identify and source vendors for production needs while managing Order Forms and Purchase Orders to facilitate procurement processes.
- Liaise with the regional team to understand collateral requirements, gather feedback, and align production with market needs.
- Provide proactive updates on the status of deliveries, replacements, and production to ensure transparency and efficiency.
- Work closely with Strategic Store Planning, Finance, Procurement, and Logistics teams to execute successful VM rollouts.
- Manage yearly department budgets allocated to produce VM assets distributed across the SEA markets by monitoring and reconciling monthly expenses.
- Anticipate and plan for SEA market business needs by maintaining accurate tracking and timely reporting.
- Partner with the logistics team to address challenges related to shipping delicate props and identifying alternative materials without compromising design integrity.
- Ensure smooth transitions between each phase of VM launches to optimize execution and efficiency.
- Negotiate costs, contracts, and delivery schedules with external partners to optimize quality and efficiency.
- Ensure cost control of all and conduct bidding process for all projects.
- Conduct market research to stay ahead of innovative materials, techniques, and sustainable production methods.
- Provide support for all VM activities within the region where required.
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in VM production management within the retail or luxury industry.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for vendor and cross-functional team interactions.
- Knowledge of production techniques, materials, and quality control processes.
- Budget management and cost control experience.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to logistical challenges.
- Leadership experience in managing teams and freelance talent.
