Fendi Assistant Store Manager

- Support the Store Manager in day-to-day leadership, assume full managerial responsibility in their absence, and help build succession plans and internal growth paths.
- Coach, develop and motivate store personnel; lead onboarding and in-store training routines to ensure the team meets individual and store objectives.
- Drive sales performance through clienteling, appointment management, cross-selling and by modelling an exemplary selling ceremony and client journey.
- Build and maintain client books, deploy CRM and clienteling tools, and cultivate long-term client relationships to maximise retention and revenue.
- Partner with Visual Merchandising to ensure store presentation meets company standards and aligns merchandising with sales performance.
- Oversee inventory handling and accuracy, enforce cycle count and opening/closing procedures, and support shrinkage control initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with cash, card and check processing procedures, maintain petty cash controls, and deliver daily operational briefs.
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in retail; at least 3 years in the luxury sector preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing store teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a proactive, goal-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency with POS systems and inventory management functions; experience using CRM/clienteling tools.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays; ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
- Digital literacy and comfort adopting retail technology; foreign language skills considered an asset.

A minimum of five years' leadership experience in retail with at least three years in luxury retail is preferred. Demonstrated success in team development, clienteling and achieving sales targets.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
