1. Strategically lead and execute finance and accounting projects to enhance financial efficiency.
2. Support financial operations across six individual Maisons and one back-office division.
3. Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with group rules and regulations.
4. Identify and suggest operational improvements for process optimization within the finance function.
5. Lead the planning, execution, and closure of finance and accounting projects, including system implementations and process reengineering.
6. Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
7. Manage project teams, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
8. Implement change management strategies to facilitate the adoption of new systems and processes.
9. Oversee the implementation, configuration, and integration of new financial systems.
10. Collaborate with IT, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless system functionality and data integrity.
11. Analyze existing finance and accounting processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
12. Design and implement optimized processes leveraging best practices and technological solutions.
13. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders.
14. Communicate project updates, challenges, and successes effectively to all relevant parties.
15. Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and meetings to gather requirements and ensure stakeholder alignment.
16. Understand key tasks performed by the accounting team across GL, AP, AR, and Tax functions.
17. Implement and manage a robust cross-training program for accounting team members.
18. Provide leadership, temporary coverage, and support to ensure continuity of operations for vacant positions.

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. MBA or relevant Master's degree is a plus.
2. More than 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or audit roles, with at least 3 years in a project management capacity.
3. Proven experience in leading successful finance and accounting system implementations.
4. Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and financial reporting.
5. Demonstrated experience in process improvement and change management.
6. Proficiency in financial software and project management tools.
7. Fluent in Japanese and English.

Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or audit roles, with at least 3 years in project management.
