Fashion Group Business Analyst & Collection Merchandiser

- Conduct in-depth analysis of product performance data across all Maisons and product lines, identifying key trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Assist in the analysis of collection plans, providing data-driven insights to optimize product assortment and align with market demand.
- Analyze pricing strategies and competitive positioning, providing recommendations to optimize pricing structures and maximize profitability.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities, providing regular reports and insights to inform merchandising decisions.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used for analysis, developing and maintaining reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate effectively with merchandising, marketing, and sales teams to gather data, share insights, and support the implementation of merchandising strategies.
- Provide ad-hoc analytical support to the Chief Product and Business Development Officer and the merchandising team as needed.
- Formulate recommendations based on analyses for inventory, assortment, and pricing strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience of a minimum of 5 years in a business retail merchandising role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets.
- Proficiency in data visualization techniques, with the ability to create clear and concise reports and dashboards.
- Solid understanding of the retail and fashion industry, with knowledge of merchandising principles, product lifecycles, and market trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a business retail merchandising role, preferably within the luxury fashion sector.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
