Donzé Baume Prototype Technician

- Translate design sketches and technical drawings into functional prototypes using both manual and machine-based processes.
- Operate and program workshop equipment including CNC mills, lathes and additive manufacturing tools to produce components within tight tolerances.
- Execute fine hand-finishing, assembly and adjustments to achieve the aesthetic and functional standards required for luxury products.
- Collaborate closely with design, engineering and quality teams to iterate prototypes, recommend material choices and resolve manufacturability issues.
- Document prototype specifications, process parameters and lessons learned to inform subsequent development cycles.
- Maintain workshop equipment, manage tooling inventory and ensure a safe, organized working environment.
- Vocational diploma or technical qualification in model making, mechanical engineering, watchmaking, industrial design or equivalent.
- Proven ability to interpret technical drawings and GD&T; strong manual dexterity and attention to finish.
- Experience operating machine tools and small-series production equipment in a precision environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic approach to translating design intent into manufacturable prototypes.
- Fluent oral and written communication sufficient to document technical work and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Typically 3+ years in prototype making, model making or small-series manufacturing within luxury goods, watchmaking, accessories or an advanced product-development workshop.
Vocational diploma or technical training in model making, mechanical engineering, watchmaking, industrial design or a related discipline.
