Donzé Baume Prototype Technician

1. Translate design sketches and technical drawings into functional prototypes using both manual and machine-based processes.
2. Operate and program workshop equipment including CNC mills, lathes and additive manufacturing tools to produce components within tight tolerances.
3. Execute fine hand-finishing, assembly and adjustments to achieve the aesthetic and functional standards required for luxury products.
4. Collaborate closely with design, engineering and quality teams to iterate prototypes, recommend material choices and resolve manufacturability issues.
5. Document prototype specifications, process parameters and lessons learned to inform subsequent development cycles.
6. Maintain workshop equipment, manage tooling inventory and ensure a safe, organized working environment.

1. Vocational diploma or technical qualification in model making, mechanical engineering, watchmaking, industrial design or equivalent.
2. Proven ability to interpret technical drawings and GD&T; strong manual dexterity and attention to finish.
3. Experience operating machine tools and small-series production equipment in a precision environment.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic approach to translating design intent into manufacturable prototypes.
5. Fluent oral and written communication sufficient to document technical work and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
