- Lead and support the polishing team by ensuring integration, versatility, and continuous technical training of employees while maintaining a positive and motivating work environment.
- Plan and organize work by balancing tasks and coordinating teams, ensuring alignment with scheduling and delivery timelines in collaboration with the scheduling and quality departments.
- Monitor and report on performance indicators (safety, quality, deadlines, cost, personnel) to the Workshop Manager, addressing any deviations.
- Manage trial days and integration of new colleagues and interns, including evaluating candidates' soft and hard skills, facilitating their onboarding, training, and conducting performance reviews.
- Identify, communicate, and participate in resolving quality issues in collaboration with the quality department and the Workshop Manager.
- Collaborate closely with the Workshop Manager by providing feedback on quality issues, potential conflicts, annual evaluations, and updating the versatility matrix.
- Propose performance improvements (range, ergonomics, flow, methods, tools, quality) and participate in various improvement projects (5R/5S/Continuous Improvement).
- Holder of a CFC in Watchmaking Finishing or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years of confirmed experience in production organization, cross-functional team management, and quality assurance.
- Proven experience in an industrial environment; knowledge of watchmaking finishing is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, persuasive and comfortable in interactions.
- Strong analytical skills, commitment, and natural leadership abilities.
Minimum of 5 years in a relevant industrial and managerial role, with experience in watchmaking finishing preferred.
CFC in Watchmaking Finishing or equivalent qualification.
