- Ensure accurate and efficient processing of shipping and receiving functions affecting store inventory.
- Maintain an orderly stock and receiving area, ensuring merchandise is properly ticketed and sensored.
- Process all inbound freight, returns-to-vendors, chargebacks, transfers, and damages in accordance with company policies.
- Support compliance with company policies regarding safekeeping of funds and property, security, and record-keeping.
- Ensure stock is appropriately security tagged to prevent loss.
- Communicate effectively with central distribution and corporate inventory control departments.
- Participate in inventory and cycle counts.
- Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping.
- Complete price changes within the boutique.
- Assist in packing or wrapping customers’ merchandise as needed.
- Contribute to problem-solving and service improvement in the receiving area.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Participate in store meetings and training seminars.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
- Ability to handle receiving operations effectively, including proper handling of merchandise.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete documentation.
- Proficiency in processing information and merchandise through computer systems.
- Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment.
- Capability to operate necessary equipment including phone systems and inventory-control computer systems.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy lifting.

A minimum of 3 years in retail stock, shipping, or receiving experience is required.
The position offers an hourly wage ranging from $18 to $23, with potential eligibility for medical benefits, commuter benefits, and a 401k plan with employer contributions.
