1. Ensure the proper fit of garments to meet high standards of workmanship.
2. Address customer inquiries regarding alterations, fit, repair, cleaning, or care.
3. Mark garments accurately for tailoring purposes.
4. Perform sewing and alterations within the scheduled timeframe.
5. Press and repair garments as needed.
6. Maintain an orderly and well-stocked tailor shop.
7. Ensure all equipment is well-maintained and operational.
8. Provide excellent customer service, including telephone etiquette and communication of customer requests to management.
9. Contribute to problem-solving and make informed suggestions to enhance service and productivity.
10. Organize and store altered and unaltered merchandise neatly.
11. Participate in store meetings and training sessions.
12. Adhere to designated work schedules and company policies.

1. Previous experience as a tailor, seamstress, or fitter.
2. Ability to operate necessary equipment, including sewing machines and pressing tools.
3. Physical capability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy garments.
4. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
5. Willingness to comply with company policies and work varied hours, including nights and weekends.

1. High-quality workmanship in garment alterations and repairs.
2. Accurate marking and pinning of garments for alterations.
3. Understanding of fit issues and ability to recommend appropriate alterations.
4. Knowledge of garment care instructions.
5. Outstanding customer service skills.
6. Effective communication and listening skills.
7. Ability to manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum 3 years of experience in tailoring, seamstress, or fitting roles.

Compensation is commensurate with skills and experience.
