1. Ensure the proper fit of garments through precise tailoring and alterations.
2. Respond to customer inquiries regarding garment alterations, fit, and care.
3. Mark garments accurately for tailoring purposes.
4. Perform sewing alterations within the designated schedule.
5. Press garments to maintain their pristine condition.
6. Repair garments as needed to uphold quality standards.
7. Maintain an organized and well-stocked tailor shop.
8. Ensure all equipment, such as sewing machines and pressers, are in optimal working condition.
9. Use proper telephone etiquette for customer interactions.
10. Communicate customer requests effectively to management.
11. Contribute to problem-solving and service improvement initiatives.
12. Organize and store altered and unaltered merchandise neatly.
13. Participate in store meetings and training sessions.
14. Adhere to designated work schedules and company policies.

1. Previous experience as a tailor, seamstress, or fitter.
2. Ability to operate necessary tailoring equipment.
3. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy garments.
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights and weekends.
6. Commitment to company policies and standards.

1. High-quality workmanship in alterations and repairs.
2. Accurate garment marking and pinning for alterations.
3. Understanding of fit issues and alteration recommendations.
4. Knowledge of garment care instructions.
5. Outstanding customer service skills.
6. Effective communication and listening skills.
7. Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum 5 years of experience in tailoring or a related field.

Salary range of $35-$38 per hour, plus bonus eligibility.
