1. Ensure the proper fit of garments through precise alterations and repairs.
2. Answer customer inquiries regarding alterations, fit, repair, cleaning, or care.
3. Accurately mark garments for tailoring and execute sewing alterations within the scheduled timeline.
4. Press and repair garments as needed, maintaining high standards of workmanship.
5. Maintain an orderly and well-stocked tailor shop, ensuring all equipment is in working order.
6. Provide outstanding customer service both in person and via telephone.
7. Communicate customer requests to management and participate in store meetings and training seminars.

1. Minimum 10 years of tailoring experience.

2. Ability to accurately mark and pin garments for alteration.
3. Understanding of fit issues and ability to make appropriate recommendations.
4. Knowledge of garment care instructions and ability to advise on care and maintenance.
5. Outstanding customer service skills in person and by telephone.
6. Clear and concise communication skills, with the ability to listen attentively.
7. Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete documentation.
8. Time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
9. Flexibility to work varied hours and days.
