- Source colored stones for unique collections and opportunistic purchases, ensuring adherence to quality standards, margin optimization, and timely delivery.
- Prepare and coordinate Research & Development sessions with the creative and marketing teams, managing the selection, recutting, and certification of stones.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with stone suppliers, workshops, and laboratories, and participate in cross-functional projects such as stone traceability and Responsible Jewellery Council certification.
- Lead and develop a team of three gemologists, fostering skill enhancement and team cohesion.
- Conduct industry monitoring through meetings with lapidaries, traders, and representatives, as well as attending professional trade shows, ensuring compliance with standards set by CIBJO, ICA, RJC, and IFBJOP.
- Degree in gemology (equivalent to a Master's level) from institutions such as ING, GIA, or Gem-A.
- Significant experience in purchasing and expertise in center stones and colored stones (over 8 years).
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong understanding of internal client and supplier relationships.
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, autonomy, and versatility.
- Advanced proficiency in English.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in the field of colored stone purchasing and expertise.
Master's degree in Gemology or equivalent from a recognized institution.
