- Oversee the day-to-day management of non-selling functions within the boutique, including shipping and receiving, inventory control, and loss prevention.
- Ensure accurate processing of store inventory through verification of purchase orders and ticketing.
- Maintain an orderly stock and receiving area, ensuring merchandise is properly ticketed and sensored.
- Participate in inventory and cycle counts, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Train and manage associates in operational tasks, including POS procedures and security protocols.
- Monitor the accuracy of receiving, transfers, damages, and returns-to-vendor to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with safety codes and ordinances, and oversee store opening/closing and security procedures.
- Assist in payroll management and scheduling, ensuring adherence to payroll budgets.
- Provide outstanding service to customers and resolve issues affecting store service and productivity.
- Minimum 3 years of retail stock associate experience with an operations background.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and follow-through abilities.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle merchandise.
