- Oversee compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards, including safekeeping of funds and property, personnel practices, and inventory management.
- Train, coach, and manage associates in executing operational tasks such as POS procedures, return procedures, and safety protocols.
- Monitor the accuracy of inventory processes including receiving, transfers, damages, and returns-to-vendor.
- Ensure security measures are in place and facilities comply with safety codes and ordinances.
- Conduct regular inventory cycle counts.
- Coordinate communication between the boutique and central distribution or corporate inventory control.
- Produce and maintain operational reports and records.
- Manage payroll processes and scheduling of associates, ensuring compliance with payroll budgets.
- Lock and secure the store, overseeing all opening, closing, and security procedures.
- Assist in solving operational problems affecting service, efficiency, and productivity.
- Provide outstanding customer service and inspire the same in others.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in operations management within a retail or luxury environment.
- Proficiency in managing store operations, including payroll, customer service, shipping/receiving, alterations, and facilities management.
- Ability to produce and maintain records and documentation.
- Proficiency in operating POS systems, inventory control systems, and other office equipment.
- Capability to develop and train workforce, building relationships and utilizing skills effectively.
- Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain consistent standards for workforce management.
- Clear and concise communication skills, with the ability to provide instructions effectively.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in operations management within a retail or luxury environment.
