1. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards, including safekeeping of funds and property, personnel practices, security, inventory management, and sales record-keeping.
2. Train, coach, and manage associates in operational tasks such as POS procedures, return processes, and safety protocols.
3. Assist in supervision, staffing, and scheduling, focusing on areas like cashiers, security, receiving, and maintenance, while controlling expenses and adhering to payroll budgets.
4. Monitor accuracy in receiving, transfers, damages, and returns-to-vendor to maintain inventory accuracy.
5. Ensure security measures are in place and facilities comply with safety codes.
6. Conduct regular inventory cycle counts.
7. Coordinate communication between the store and central distribution or corporate inventory control.
8. Produce and maintain operational reports and records.
9. Organize and manage back-of-house operations.
10. Oversee store opening/closing and security procedures.
11. Assist in recruiting and hiring qualified applicants.
12. Ensure timely submission of new hire, benefit enrollment, and employee change forms.
13. Assist with staffing, payroll management, and scheduling compliance.
14. Address and resolve issues affecting store service, efficiency, and productivity.
15. Provide exceptional customer service.
16. Exercise judgment and discretion in daily store operations.
17. Perform any additional tasks as assigned.

1. 5+ years of retail store management experience with a strong operations background.
2. Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
3. Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
4. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle merchandise and fixtures.
5. Willingness to adhere to company policies, procedures, regulations, and standards.
6. Availability to travel as needed.

1. Proficiency in managing store operations, including payroll, customer service, shipping/receiving, alterations, and facilities management.
2. Ability to produce and maintain workforce records and documentation.
3. Competence in operating necessary equipment, including POS systems, inventory control systems, and office equipment.
4. Effective communication skills to provide clear instructions and listen attentively.

Minimum of 3 years in a similar role within retail store management.
