- Ensure accurate and efficient processing of all shipping and receiving functions affecting store inventory
- Maintain an orderly and neat stock and receiving area, ensuring merchandise is properly ticketed and sensored
- Accurately process all inbound freight, returns-to-vendors, chargebacks, transfers, and damages
- Support compliance with company policies and standards, including safekeeping of funds and property
- Ensure stock is appropriately security tagged to prevent loss
- Communicate with central distribution and corporate inventory control department
- Participate in inventory and cycle counts
- Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping
- Complete price changes within the boutique
- Pack or wrap customers’ merchandise when necessary
- Solve problems and make informed suggestions affecting service and productivity
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Participate in store meetings and training seminars
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management
- Ability to handle receiving operations effectively
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow-through skills
- Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete documentation
- Ability to process information and merchandise through computer systems
- Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to operate necessary equipment, including phone systems and inventory-control computer systems
- Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle boxes of merchandise

Minimum 3 years of previous retail stock, shipping, or receiving experience.
