1. Ensure accurate and efficient processing of all shipping and receiving functions affecting store inventory
2. Maintain an orderly and neat stock and receiving area, ensuring merchandise is properly ticketed and sensored
3. Accurately process all inbound freight, returns-to-vendors, chargebacks, transfers, and damages
4. Support compliance with company policies and standards, including safekeeping of funds and property
5. Ensure stock is appropriately security tagged to prevent loss
6. Communicate with central distribution and corporate inventory control department
7. Participate in inventory and cycle counts
8. Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping
9. Complete price changes within the boutique
10. Pack or wrap customers’ merchandise when necessary
11. Solve problems and make informed suggestions affecting service and productivity
12. Comply with all company policies and procedures
13. Participate in store meetings and training seminars
14. Perform other tasks as assigned by management

1. Ability to handle receiving operations effectively
2. Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow-through skills
3. Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete documentation
4. Ability to process information and merchandise through computer systems
5. Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment
6. Ability to operate necessary equipment, including phone systems and inventory-control computer systems
7. Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays
8. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle boxes of merchandise

Minimum 3 years of previous retail stock, shipping, or receiving experience.
