- Generate and analyze weekly sales reports, ensuring alignment with sales targets.
- Oversee product shipping and delivery processes, maintaining close communication with retail teams.
- Contribute innovative ideas to enhance business strategy and participate in strategic discussions.
- Assist in weekly stock rebalancing to optimize sales and sell-through rates.
- Monitor and track trunk show samples, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis, preparing detailed reports on competitive pricing and trends.
- Support the creation of seasonal launch tools, including buy books and client order management.
- Participate in four seasonal buying markets, assisting with premarket analysis and strategy presentation.
- Review sales results from advertising campaigns and product highlights.
- Prepare and analyze reports on fast/slow sellers and end-of-season product performance.
- Full-time availability for a 12-month program, Monday to Friday, with remote work on Fridays.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in merchandising or buying, preferably in luxury retail.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and all Microsoft Office programs.
- Solid understanding of retail math and critical retail metrics.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a strong drive for results.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Creative thinking in business analysis and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with boutique teams.
- Proficiency in merchandising software and retail programs.
- Adaptability to rapidly changing business demands and ability to prioritize effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team player.
At least 6 months of prior experience in merchandising or buying, ideally within the luxury retail sector.
