Merchandising Trainee

1. Generate and review weekly sales reports and business recaps.
2. Manage product shipping and deliveries.
3. Communicate with Retail teams for product inquiries and business updates.
4. Participate in business strategy development.
5. Assist with stock rebalances to improve sales.
6. Monitor and track Trunk Show Samples.
7. Conduct competitive market analysis and prepare monthly recaps.
8. Support the creation of seasonal launch tools.
9. Assist during seasonal Buying Markets with premarket analysis.
10. Review sales results on advertising campaigns and product highlights.
11. Prepare analysis on fast/slow sellers and sell-thru reports.
12. Compile seasonal qualitative collection feedback.
13. Conduct end of season product analysis and recaps.
14. Support weekly reporting and ad-hoc analysis.

1. Full-time, 8-month program.
2. Available Monday to Friday, 9-6pm, with Friday work from home.

4. Effective communication with Boutique teams.
5. Creative thinking in business analysis.
6. Proficiency in merchandising software.
7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
8. Knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office programs.

At least 6 months of prior merchandising/buying work or internship experience, preferably in luxury retail women's fashion. Strong working knowledge of retail math and critical metrics.

The appointed candidate will be offered a salary of $20 per hour, plus potential eligibility to participate in the Company's medical benefits plan, commuter benefits, and 401k plans with employer contributions.
