Christian Dior European Financial Controller

- Oversee and lead the European Financial Control department, managing a team of four, including three controllers and one intern.
- Ensure the development and upskilling of team members, promoting collaboration and synergy within the team and across other departments.
- Guarantee the accuracy and compliance of financial data (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with IFRS standards and meet monthly reporting deadlines to the Central Financial Directorate and European General Management.
- Drive budgetary and forecasting processes for the European region, including budgets, forecasts, and three-year plans.
- Analyze performance, identify improvement levers, and propose action plans to optimize COP and costs.
- Communicate financial information to European General Management and prepare budget presentations.
- Review all business plans for European network development projects.
- Act as a key business partner for financial and retail projects across Europe, ensuring adherence to standards and constraints (Accounting, Financial Control, Taxation, POS, Omnichannel, etc.).
- Participate actively in project design, coordinate central and local teams, and drive the harmonization of financial processes across the region.
- Provide strategic assistance and analytical support to the CFO Europe, aiding in strategic decision-making.
- Engage with the European financial community, addressing specific issues such as fraud, payments, accounting, and tax matters.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in audit, financial control, or finance, including team management, ideally in international retail.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or Management (Bac+5 equivalent).
- Proven leadership abilities and strategic vision.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and adaptability.
