- Oversee the entire store planning process for boutiques in Japan, from inception to opening.
- Ensure alignment with the Concept Design release for global coherence.
- Foster collaboration among HQ Architecture team, local architects, and contractors.
- Implement sustainable practices, adhering to LEED/LIFE standards.
- Manage relationships with local architects, designers, and contractors.
- Ensure adherence to cost control and project development standards set by HQ.
- Negotiate with contractors and vendors, ensuring effective budget management.
- Strategically manage timelines to ensure timely project completion.
- Collaborate with HQ on design materials and fixtures.
- Develop and coach the store planning team to enhance project management skills.
- Propose process improvements for boutique openings.
- Oversee procurement, identifying cost reduction opportunities.
- Ensure timely handling of maintenance and repair requests from stores.
- University degree or equivalent, preferably in architecture.
- Over 10 years of experience in retail store planning or architecture for a luxury brand.
- Fluency in English and effective communication skills.
- Ability to negotiate with landlords and vendors.
- Detailed knowledge of Japan's construction laws and regulations.
- Strong project management skills.
- Effective team management and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator, and CAD.
- Familiarity with LEED standards and sustainable practices.
- Ability to manage stress and work under pressure.
- Creative problem-solving and innovative thinking.
A minimum of 10 years in retail store planning, design, or architecture, preferably within a luxury brand context.
University degree or equivalent, architecture studies preferred.
