1. Ensure accurate and efficient processing of all shipping and receiving functions affecting store inventory.
2. Maintain an orderly stock and receiving area, ensuring merchandise is properly ticketed and sensored.
3. Process inbound freight, returns-to-vendors, chargebacks, transfers, and damages in accordance with company policies.
4. Support compliance with company policies regarding safekeeping of funds, property, and security.
5. Communicate with central distribution and corporate inventory control departments.
6. Participate in inventory and cycle counts.
7. Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping.
8. Complete price changes within the boutique.
9. Pack or wrap customers’ merchandise as needed.
10. Solve problems and make informed suggestions to enhance service and productivity.
11. Comply with all company policies and procedures.
12. Participate in store meetings and training seminars.

1. Previous retail stock, shipping, or receiving experience.

1. Ability to handle receiving operations effectively.
2. Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
3. Proficiency in reading, counting, and writing for accurate documentation.
4. Ability to process information and merchandise through computer systems.
5. Time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
6. Proficiency in operating necessary equipment, including phone systems and inventory-control systems.
7. Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
8. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy lifting.

Beginner-level experience in retail stock, shipping, or receiving operations.
